About these terms
These terms apply when you use websiteunboxed.com, request a free homepage redesign, or hire Website Unboxed ("we", "us") to design, build or run a website. If you sign a separate proposal or statement of work, it applies together with these terms; if they conflict, the signed document wins.
Our services
We design, build and launch marketing websites and landing pages, and set up analytics, consent, SEO, answer-engine optimisation (AEO), security and, where agreed, translation. The exact scope, pages, deliverables and timeline for a project are set out in your written scope.
Free homepage redesign
- The free redesign is a concept with no obligation to buy.
- You may keep the concept and use the ideas in it. The live preview link stays online for 30 days.
- The tracking and consent check is a quick review of your live site, not an audit or legal advice.
- We take 10 free redesigns a week and may decline or delay requests when we are at capacity.
- You confirm you are allowed to share the website you send us.
Quotes and prices
Prices on our site are “from” prices, not quotes. After a call we send a fixed quote and written scope. Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote. Prices exclude taxes such as VAT or GST, which we add where they apply.
Payment
Invoices are due by the date shown on each invoice. We may pause work on overdue invoices after giving you written notice.
What we need from you
- Content, brand assets and account access on the dates in your scope.
- One named person who gives feedback and approvals.
- Feedback on each weekly preview within the time agreed in your scope.
Delays in content or feedback move the timeline. Extra work outside the scope is quoted before we start.
Partners and subcontractors
We may deliver parts of a project with trusted partners, including Waftr for analytics and measurement and NexTranslate for translation, and with other specialist subcontractors. They work under confidentiality and data protection terms at least as strict as ours. Website Unboxed stays your single point of contact and is responsible for their work as if it were our own.
Who owns what
When you have paid in full, you own the website we build for you: its design, code and content made for your project. Accounts we set up, such as GA4, Tag Manager, Google Ads, Search Console, Cloudflare and your code repository, are created in your name from the start.
We keep ownership of our own tools, templates, components and know-how that existed before your project or are not specific to you, and give you a permanent, royalty-free licence to use them as part of your website. We may show your website in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Third-party services
Your website relies on services such as Cloudflare, Google, Calendly and your CMS. Their terms and fees apply to you directly. We are not responsible for their outages, price changes or policy changes, but we will help you respond to them.
Analytics, consent and compliance
We set up cookie consent, Google Consent Mode v2 and tracking to current guidance in the regions you sell to. This is a technical setup, not legal advice or a guarantee of compliance. You are responsible for your privacy policy, banner wording and lawful use of the data you collect, and your legal team should approve them.
Launch and post-launch cover
We test your site before launch. For 30 days after launch we fix any defects in our work at no charge. After that, Unboxed Care is optional and month to month. We do not promise specific rankings, AI citations, traffic or revenue, because they depend on factors outside our control.
Limits of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise, our total liability for a project is limited to the fees you paid for that project in the 12 months before the claim, and neither of us is liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data.
Confidentiality
We keep your non-public information confidential and use it only to deliver your project. Our partners and subcontractors are bound by the same duty.
Ending a project
Either of us can end a project with written notice. You pay for work done up to that point, and we hand over everything paid for.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will show the new date at the top. Changes do not affect a signed scope already in progress. For questions, contact us through the form on this site.
